Trollforsen is one of the largest rapids in Europe on the Piteälven River, about 40 km from our Wilderness Lodge. In the middle of the rapids you can hike Troll Holmen (an island) which is about 4 km long and up to 700 meters wide which can be reached via a suspension bridge. . The beautiful natural forest is crossed by rivers, old waters, smaller lakes and swamps. Ideal for hiking and fishing.
