How to find us
By car:
Ours Wilderness Lodge Located in Auktsjaur on the E45, 25km north of Arvidsjaur.
From Germany there are various ferry connections via Denmark or from Germany directly to Sweden, such as the Öresund Bridge via Denmark.
Personally, we prefer to make a partial trip by ferry, as you can relax from driving shortly until overnight.

Rostock - Trelleborg
Travemünde – Trelleborg
Kiel – Gothenburg
Arriving on the Scandinavian side, there are various routes on which you can get to us in Lapland. One route leads them on the E4 over Stockholm and then along the picturesque coast, past Gävle, Sundsnall, Örnsköldsvik, Nordmaling, Umea and Skelleftea.
Alternatively, the E45 would be the domestic vehicle by the interior of Sweden.
Another option that many choose is to drive along the fjord road in Norway. Highly recommended, but there is enough time for this route.
By plane:
Airports:
There are several possible destination airports in the area, with the way there mostly via Stockholm (Arlanda).
The nearest airport is Arvidsjaur (AJR) only 30 minutes from us which is preferred by us. You can book your domestic flight via www.populair.com.
Alternatively, the airport in Lulea on the coast is about 2h by car.
In winter there are direct flights from Germany with Pro Sky or PAS.
By arrangement, a transfer to and from the airport is possible.
If you want to be independent, there are various car rental companies at the airports to choose from.

The nearest Länstrafiks stop (Public Transport) is about 2 minutes walk from our lodge. Or in Arvidsjaur

Railway and Inlandsbanan (train):
During the summer it is possible to travel with the Inlandsbanan. On request, the train stops here in the town of Auktsjaur about 1km from the lodge.
