Winter 22.1 – 29.1.2027
Winter
Experience your photographic adventure for a week on the Winter Fairy Tale Photo Tour in Swedish Lapland.
You can expect icy waterfalls, snowmobiling tour, moose and reindeer, husky sleigh ride, snowshoe tour, starry skies, snowy winter landscapes, hopefully many northern lights and lots of photo action. This photo trip becomes a very exciting and above all natural photo experience with real wilderness fun. Winter from its most beautiful side and with the combination of animal and landscape photography you get a unique impression of this winter wonderland.
Our Wilderness Life Lodge is 25km north of Arvidsjaur. From there we do different day and night tours.
Daily activities are adapted to weather and aurora forecasts. When the conditions are right and the sky is clear, we look for the northern lights in the evening.
During the day tours there is always enough time scheduled and many stops to let the camera snap
Includes 7 nights / 8 days
German language course management
7 nights in a double room with shared bathroom
Transfer from Arvidsjaur Airport
Day snowmobile tour: The snowmobiling tours will take you through stunning and beautifully snowy landscapes while absorbing nature.
Storforsen: Visit the Piteälven and the largest rapid in Europe with 60 meters drop height. This white water never freezes and forms ice caves, ice sculptures and other bizarre formations.
Akkanalke: on this "mountain" you have a fantastic view over Lapland. The trees snow deep and capture the light play in pastel colors at sunset.
Visit to Arvidsjaur with the church, Lapland stadiums the old church village and a visit to the local museum which is housed in the old rectory.
Snowshoe tour: We trudge through the fairytale forest in search of the most beautiful winter motifs. Upon request, the Huskies can also accompany us here.
Moose and reindeer safari- experience the inhabitants of the north up close. With a sleigh we leave feed station for the elk. Sometimes very close to 20m - sometimes something hidden away and others take tears out when they see us. They are wild moose and there is no fence. The approximately 20 animals are only in the winter months in this area. Afterwards there is a delicious lunch in the Grillkåta. Now we visit the reindeer: may you feed and caress. Now Sara tells us a Sami what happens in a reindeer year and what work is in line.
Sled dog passenger journey: The Huskies bark joyfully and can hardly wait until it starts. You sit on the sleigh and enjoy the passenger journey through the winter world.
