Whether adventure or recreation – we arrange your stay according to your wishes. From guided husky and snowmobiling tours over quad, bushcraft, fishing and canoe tours to cozy evenings at the campfire. With us you do not experience nature as a spectator, but in the middle of it.

Our lodge with B&B rooms, log cabin, wilderness huts and camper pitches is open all year round.
The café with souvenir shop is open in summer from June to September.

At Wilderness Life, outdoor activities and nature experiences are our main focus. You can enjoy and experience adventures such as snowmobiling, ice fishing, moose safaris, snowshoe hikes, trekking with our huskies, fishing, quad tours, and canoeing. Of course, you’re also welcome to come to Lapland simply to relax and soak up the peace and beauty of nature.
Primarily during the colder months from September to April, you can marvel at the Northern Lights – also known as the Aurora Borealis.
Each season shows a different side of this fascinating landscape and offers unique experiences.
The North is worth a visit at any time of year.
The Lapland region offers more than 4,000 lakes and countless rivers and streams. Vast areas where forests, nature, and wilderness dominate, home to a rich variety of wildlife. Here, you can experience nature in its purest form and observe animals in their true natural habitat.

What Wilderness Life offers
About us
We are Manuela and Michael, born and raised in Switzerland.
We have been walking through life together since 2010 – and since 2021, we’ve also been living as emigrants in Lapland.
From a spontaneous opportunity became our big dream: a life in the middle of nature, together with our pack of 14 huskies.
Together, we run Wilderness Life – each with our own strengths, as a well-coordinated team.
